Video – Athlete knocks out rival with a flying knee in the face for 'bare-knuckle boxing' fight

Everything was heading towards another peaceful weigh-in of the 'Zames Fight Club 3', an event held last Saturday (28), when an unfortunate event marked the confrontation between the athletes. While one of the fighters was heading towards the 'face to face' tradition, his rival applied a flying knee, for no apparent reason, which made him collapse instantly.

In a video published and viralized on social media, it is possible to see the attacker repelling his opponent's approach with a flying knee and, shortly afterwards, he was restrained by security guards at the scene. The victim, in turn, 'blacked out' and woke up groggy, having even thrown punches 'on reflex' at one of the event workers.

The controversy occurred in the third edition of 'Zames Fight Club', held in Minsk, Belarus. The athletes, however, were not identified in the caption and it is unclear whether they were allowed to fight on Saturday night.
