Angry after the judges' decision, Tyron Woodley asks for a rematch against Jake Paul

The former welterweight champion believes he won the fight against the 'youtuber' and welcomed the opportunity for a new duel

After being defeated by Jake Paul in the judges' split decision, the former UFC fighter Tyron woodley He left the ring angry with the side judges. The former welterweight champion (under 77,1kg) believes he won the fight and even asked for a rematch.

“I feel like I won the fight. The fact that a judge gave me two rounds is disrespectful. F*** the fight with Fury, I want a rematch”, added Woodley in an interview after the show.

In a disappointing performance, Tyron was nullified by Jake and lost on points. In a split decision, the three judges scored it 77-75, 75-77 and 78-74. The confrontation marked Woodley's debut in the 'noble art'.

Fired from the UFC at the beginning of 2021, Tyron has not yet decided on his professional future. The 'Chosen One' led the welterweight division from 2016 to 2019 and has a record of 19 wins, seven setbacks and one draw in mixed martial arts.
