With the tense atmosphere between the protagonists of the main fight, the official weigh-in for UFC Combate 17 took place this Friday afternoon (2), an event that takes place this Saturday night (18), in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. In the duel against the scales, only the North American John Cholish, Brazilian Gleison Tibau's opponent on the show, failed to reach 70,3 kg. of the lightweight category and will have one hour to reach the division limit. The other athletes made the weight without any major difficulties.
Among the main stars of the event, Vitor belfort e Luke Rockhold revived the tense moment of the press conference, last Thursday (16). At the time of the traditional photo after the weigh-in, the Brazilian, just as he did at the press conference, placed his arm close to the North American's face. However, this time, Rockhold went after Vitor and placed his forehead against his rival's. At this moment, Belfort pushed Luke and the fighters had to be restrained so that the fight did not start a day in advance.
