“I always had a lot of respect for my opponents. In fact, I trained with Sordi in Brazil six years ago, at Nova União. I think it was a good fight, you know? I expected nothing less, as I knew he was tough and a former champion. I knew it wouldn’t be easy”, declared the Brazilian.

After the event, the Brazilian met with Ray Sefo, president of the organization and expressed his joy in fighting in his new home.

“I just told Ray (Sefo, president of the PFL) how good I was to be able to fight in the PFL, which is a big event. I try to get better every day and I think this will get better and better due to the amount of good athletes we have here and it's great to be here”, concluded the light heavyweight.

In the big decision of the light heavyweight GP, Shoe Face will measure forces against the Norwegian Martin Hamlet. The confrontation will take place on October 27th. The fighter has 12 triumphs and five setbacks in the sport.
