“I think it will be a great fight for me (against Kayla harrison). We can fight up to 70,3kg. (lightweights) and she is in the last fight of her contract. I think she might sign with the UFC, but she made more money in the PFL than the Amanda nunes. People say it will take me down, but I think a wrestling match can beat judo. She can take me down. However, I also think I can take her down. It's an MMA fight and maybe she's afraid to attack me, too,” said Cyborg.
Chris Cyborg She is considered, by many, as one of the best fighters in the history of the sport. Professional since 2005, the Curitiba native has been champion of organizations such as Invicta FC, Strikeforce, UFC and Bellator, in addition to having victories against names such as Holly holm, Gina Canaro and julia budd. At 36 years old, she has a record of 24 triumphs, two setbacks and one 'no result' fight.
Kayla harrison, in turn, is the great promise of MMA today. The North American stood out for being two-time Olympic judo champion and also won the Grand Prix lightweight (up to 70,3kg) of the PFL. She is even in her second straight final in her last fight under her contract with the organization. Her record has 11 wins and no defeats.
