Aiming to fill the ranks of the heavyweight category, the UFC announced the signing of the Ukrainian revelation Nikita Krylov, just 20 years old. Krylov arrives at Ultimate along with another European, Polish Daniel Omielanczuk, also signed by the organization.
Nikita Krylov has had a devastating start to his career in Ukrainian MMA. The young man won all 14 fights he fought in less than a year since he started fighting professionally in July last year. “The Al Capone”, as he is known, submitted or knocked out in the first round in all of his fights.
Daniel Omielanczuk, another Eastern European athlete signed by Ultimate, doesn't quite have Krylov's track record, but he also has great numbers. The 30-year-old Pole hasn't lost since June 2010. Since then, there have been eleven consecutive victories. In his career, Daniel won 15 times, lost only three and also had one draw.
