Former TUF Brasil participant gets involved in confusion in Rio Grande do Norte

Participant of the first edition of The Ultima Fighter Brasil, Anistavio Gasparzinho was involved in a huge mess in Natal, Rio de Grande do Norte. The fighter, who was at the Pepper's Hall nightclub with some friends, last Thursday (09), was accused of attacking Eduardo Augusto Marinho in a fight there.

Marinho, through his Facebook page, said that he was cowardly attacked by Gasparzinho and ended up losing a R$25 watch during the confusion. Eduardo Augusto posted photos of cuts to his head and face on social media.

“Yesterday there at Pepers in the box, the MMA fighter Gaspazinho and his gang They cowardly beat me off guard and, on top of that, my 25 gold watch disappeared in the fight. I’m going to find out about the gang one by one and sue (sic),” he wrote.

In his defense, Gasparzinho spoke in an official note and denied Marinho's version. The fighter said that Eduardo threw drinks at people and even tried to break a bottle of whiskey on his head. Anistávio also revealed that he pushed his opponent, but did not attack his rival, who continued looking for a fight in the concert hall.

He (Eduardo Augusto Marinho) threw drinks at people, messed with people and ended up throwing a bottle of whiskey into the air, which fell next to me and broke at my feet. I went to complain in a normal way. I told him to be careful, it could have hurt him. He asked if I was ok, said the bottle had already been paid for, I replied and he pushed me away. When I was pushed, I reflexively pushed back and we fought, but I didn't do anything else. When I turned my back to leave, he cowardly punched me in the head, I turned around and a friend pulled me away. We walked away, but he took advantage of another moment when my back was turned and went towards me with another bottle of whiskey in his hands and tried to break it over my head, but the same friend saw it and pulled me away. Then some people who I didn't even see attacked him, it all happened very quickly.”, said Gaspar, who revealed that Eduardo called himself a “bicheiro”.

“After they stopped or pulled away, he kept shouting to everyone that he was going to kill me, that he was a bugger and that I would die today. I don't know how, but he got my number and called this morning to threaten me again. I filed a police report and I've already spoken to lawyers, I'm going to sue him for slander and I won't let him get away with it. And if something happens to me, everyone can be sure that it will be Eduardo Augusto Marinho’s doing.”

Gasparzinho ended the official note by reporting that Marinho wanted to highlight his success. “The attacks he suffered were from other people outraged by the situation and perhaps even provoked by him before as he was messing with everyone, but as he doesn't give a damn he decided to associate it with me. It's very easy to judge me just because I'm a fighter. I know there is prejudice, people already think we are capable of certain types of acts, but they should listen to both sides before jumping to conclusions”, he concluded.
