Brazilian says she can beat the lightweight limit to face Harrison, but judoka counters: 'You can't beat me'

The brilliant performance of Kayla harrison in PFL #8 this Thursday (19) caught the attention of Chris Cyborg. On your official account on 'Twitter', the Bellator featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) stated that she can beat the lightweight limit (70,3kg) as an indication that she would be able to face the North American.

Soon after, at the post-event press conference in which she defeated Genah Fabian, the North American tried to mock the Brazilian's comment and responded, assertively, that she can beat her.

“We know you can hit 155 pounds. Do you want a participation trophy? (laughter). I know you can make weight, but I also know you can’t beat me,” Harrison responded.

In the final of the lightweight Grand Prix (up to 70,3kg.) against Taylor Guardado, Kayla harrison can say goodbye to the PFL. The two-time Olympic judo champion, who is undefeated in MMA in 12 fights, has just one more fight on her current contract and suggested that she may soon move to another organization. Bellator and UFC are indicated as possible destinations for the athlete, who wants sporting motivation.
