Fighter who lost his entire salary betting on himself is fired from UFC on his birthday

After four consecutive defeats in the organization, Justin Jaynes was fired from Ultimate on his 32nd birthday.

Justin jaynes is not one of the best-known names in the world of MMA. The featherweight (up to 65,7 kg), however, gained notoriety in June this year when he revealed that he would bet his entire salary on his own victory against Charles Rosa, UFC Las Vegas 30, and end up losing. If the situation was already bad for Jaynes, it got even worse. On August 10th, the date he turned 32, the North American was fired from Ultimate.

The revelation of the dismissal of Justin jaynes was made by his coach, Eric Nicksick on social media. The coach exposed the situation by complaining about how Jaynes and his other pupil, Kai Kamaka, were released by the UFC even after helping the organization on several occasions by accepting last-minute fights.

“To all the young fighters out there, keep this in mind. Just because you are doing the organization a favor does not necessarily mean that this will be taken into consideration when renegotiating the contract”, warned the coach.

According to Nicksick, four of the five fights held by Justin jaynes in the UFC were accepted with little preparation time available. Kamaka, in turn, accepted three of the four fights he had in the octagon at the last minute.

Justin jaynes he debuted in the UFC in June 2020 with a technical knockout victory over Frank Camacho. Since then, he has entered the Octagon on four other occasions and lost on all of them.
