“I've had moments when I returned (to MMA), like after I lost to Mauricio Rua (Shogun). People thought I was finished, but I came back to win the belt and then make history by being the first unified champion in MMA. Even though I'm much older now, I want to take one last ride, because I love this sport,” Jackson said in an interview with 'MMA Hour'.

At 43, Rampage is convinced that he can still 'entertain' his fans. At his peak, the North American was recognized as one of the top names in PRIDE and UFC, where he was one of the most fearless light heavyweights (up to 93kg) in the world.

“I've seen a lot of fighters retire and come back, but they end up waiting too long. They come back after three or five years, and they're just not fit anymore. I feel like with the heart I have, I could come back and just entertain the fans.”
