A passion of millions of people around the world, MMA sometimes generates entertainment that goes beyond two people exchanging strength on a platform. Last Saturday (14), a fight promoted by CFFC 99, in Biloxi (USA), was momentarily interrupted due to the 'invasion' of a 'flying object' later identified. The comical episode took place during the confrontation between Nah-Shon Burrel and Khetag Pliev.

In the images (see below), it is possible to observe the exact moment in which Nah-Shon is surprised by the insect's 'action'. The athlete had just launched an attack on his opponent, when he was taken by surprise. The fighter immediately got scared and, realizing the situation, the referee momentarily interrupted the duel.
With tempers calmed, the duel continued and the outcome was positive for the previously frightened Burrel. In the third round, the fighter managed a tough knockout against Pliev, who was knocked out after a clean cross to the face.
Interestingly, Khetag made news in the MMA world in April. Fighting, also for CFFC, the athlete had his moment of fame in a tragic way. In the fight against Devin Goodale, the combatant staged a very strong image, when his finger was cut off in the cage.
