Anderson Silva is willing to forget the controversial punishment he received from the UFC. The Brazilian, who was fined US$50, approximately R$100, for missing UFC 162's media day this week, seems willing to not care about the irritation of Dana White, president of the franchise.
After saying that he did not know about the commitment to the press, the champion trained at Team Nogueira this Wednesday (08). Dressed in the Corinthians shirt, Spider sharpened his boxing, alongside Erick silva, with coach Edelson Silva.
“I never missed any commitment with the UFC. I would never book a trip to Brazil if I knew I had to be in Los Angeles. Everyone knows that I always block my media schedule to focus on training, as they are my priority,” said Anderson.
On July 6, at UFC 162, Anderson will once again compete for the middleweight belt (up to 84kg), against the undefeated Chris Weidman. Erick will face Jason High in the final of TUF Brasil II, on June 8, in Fortaleza.
