Recognized as one of Brazil's biggest names on the national scene, Maike Linhares became a 'star' last Sunday (8), when he delivered one of the most incredible knockouts of the year against Fabrício 'Alagoinhas' Oliveira. The fight took place at the event's premiereBrazilian Fighting Series', in Rio de Janeiro.

Former champion of Jungle Fight, the native of Tocantins advanced in search of a combination of blows while standing, but was unable to connect with the Bahian. And, when the two separated, Linhares hit a devastating high kick, known as the 'question mark kick', on Alagoinhas, who was already knocked out. The duel ended at 4:10 in the second round.
A professional since 2012, Maike Linhares scores his second consecutive victory on his return to the cage after more than two years away. In his record, he now has 15 triumphs – six of which are knockouts – and three setbacks in his career.
Fabrício 'Alagoinhas' Oliveira, on the other hand, feels the 'bitter taste' of his seventh negative result in his career, which began in 2009. The fighter, who also hadn't played for two years, has a record of 12 victories, seven defeats and a draw in his career as an MMA professional.
