Philippou suffers injury and Jacaré has a new opponent in UFC Combate 2

Changes to the UFC Combate 2 card, an event that takes place on May 18, in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. The Cypriot Constantine Philippou suffered a cut near his eye during training and is out of the second most important fight of the night against the Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare. As the show approached, the organization found a quick solution and called on Chris Camozzi, then an opponent of Rafael Sapo at the same event for the duel against the former Strikeforce champion.

With this, Sapo, who had been left without an opponent, will face a newcomer in Ultimate. He faces compatriot João Zeferino, who accepted the challenge at the last minute and will make his debut in the octagon in Jaraguá do Sul.

Zeferino, who has an MMA record of 13 wins and four losses, is on a streak of seven wins. In his last appearance, he defeated Wellington Geraldo de Oliveira, at Nitrix 14, in March.
