Brazilian Rafael “Feijão” Cavalcante is without an opponent for EliteXC, which takes place on November 8th, in Nevada, United States. Feijão was scheduled to face Frenchman Cyrille Diabate, in a fight valid for the organization's light heavyweight belt, but his opponent did not accept the fight against the Brazilian, claiming he did not have enough time to prepare.
“We offered him the fight, but he said he felt he didn't have enough time to prepare,” said Jeremy Lappen, Elite's chief operating officer. “We are still working on defining an opponent for Feijão”, he added.
With the Frenchman's withdrawal, the organization is hastily looking for an opponent for the Brazilian.
