The Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, in Brasília, is the UFC's next stop in Brazil. According to a note on the Tatame magazine website, the federal capital will host an edition of the show on September 4th. Although there is still no official confirmation from the organization, officials from the Federal District Sports Department revealed that the event could actually take place in the city.
If the event in Brasília is confirmed, the show will be the fifth in Brazil in 2013. On May 18th, Jaraguá do Sul, in Santa Catarina, will be the stage for UFC Combate 2. On June 8th, Fortaleza will host TUF Brazil II Finale. On August 3rd, Rio de Janeiro will host UFC 163, which features as its main fight the defense of the UFC belt. José Aldo against Anthony Pettis.
The first UFC event in Brazil in 2013 took place in São Paulo, in January. In this ocasion, Vitor belfort knocked out Michael Bisping in the main fight of the night.
