“To be honest, I wasn't expecting a striking fight. But, thank God, I won. We always think about the worst situations we can face in a confrontation. I felt very loose, light and smooth in the cage”, said the athlete.

Yamauchi's impressive victory on the main card saw the Brazilian regain his good momentum in the organization. At the Bellator 263, the fighter took to the cage trying to erase the defeat he suffered against Dan Moret, in April of this season.

Feared for his excellent jiu-jitsu, Goiti reached his 26th triumph as a professional in MMA. With 20 submissions under his belt, the athlete ended up finding victory with a knockout (second in his career) in the first round.

A veteran of the company, Yamauchi hasn't scored a knockout since 2013, in his second commitment for the company. On that occasion, the fighter beat Saul Almeida, also in the first round.
