If defeats in big fights can be traumatic in MMA, Patrick Pitbull and his team brought another ‘vision’ after losing the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.). In a post-event press conference, Eric Albarracin, the Brazilian's coach, revealed that a rematch is in the plans for the future and calls for the fight to take place in Brazil.

“If you do something like this (win Patrick Pitbull), it's time to try to do this in Brazil. This guy has been here for ten years, was a double champion and has the longest title defense period in Bellator history. He is the champion,” said Albarracin.

Eric Albarracin even justifies that Patrick Pitbull went to Los Angeles, at the ‘house’ of A. J. McKee and now it is time for the opposite direction.

“We fight the challenger here in his ‘house’. He won that. And he's from here, his father is from here. They had 99% of the audience cheering. Okay, he won. Let's do this in Brazil now. Just one more time. Bring him to Brazil for the champion”, added the coach.

Patrick Pitbull felt the ‘bitter taste’ of defeat when he was finished by A. J. McKee in the first round, in one of the most anticipated fights in Bellator history. Now, the Brazilian still holds the lightweight title (up to 70,3kg) and has a record of 32 triumphs and five setbacks in his career.
