The Brazilian also made a point of congratulating McKee on his victory. He states that he already expected great quality from the North American and says that he made a mistake that cost him the belt and the loss of the division's Grand Prix, valued at US$1 million (around R$5.2 million at current prices).

“Tonight, he (A. J. McKee) was brilliant. She grabbed my head, almost knocked me out and almost erased me. So he did very well. Congratulations, now he is the new champion. I knew what he had. It was a mistake. I tried to avoid it, but he did very well”, concluded the Brazilian.
