The fight program UFC Las Vegas 33 suffered further casualties just hours before the fighting began. The Brazilian Rani Yaya tested positive for Covid-19 and was forced to leave the duel against Kyung Ho Kang for the division of roosters (up to 61.2 kg.). Rani, who has a solid career in the UFC, with more than 10 years in the event, revealed in a survey carried out by the Combate channel website, in June, who did not intend to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Now, precisely the virus, forces him out of the fight that could take him close to the bantamweight rankings.

One more casualty

Just a few minutes after Rani's departure from the card, the UFC Las Vegas 33 lost another fight. The duel between the welterweights (up to 77.1 kg.) Niklas Stolze e Jared Gooden was also removed from the attraction.

With the duo down, the fight program of the UFC Las Vegas 33, who until last week had 15 fights, now has just nine fights. Now, Brazil will only have one representative in the attraction: Glorinha de Paula, which faces Cheyanne buys  in the women's strawweight division.
