With the news that Masvidal wants to fight again in December, Edwards appeared on his 'Twitter' official to call his rival for a fight.

“I will be ready in November or December. Stop with the excuses #VoltaAoSangue”, wrote Leon.

Soon after, aware of the challenge, the North American rejected the idea and did not seem willing to face the Englishman.

“Stop pursuing the fight, as you have already refused the fight. You just gave an interview saying you don’t want to,” Masvidal responded.

Edwards and Masvidal's relationship reached its peak in 2019, when at an event in London, England, the North American won Darren till in the main fight of the night.
