After two years away from the Octagon due to a series of injuries, the 30-year-old fighter announced that she will undergo a surgical procedure on her knee, which will increase her downtime in her career. Her return was previously scheduled for September 25th, where she would face off against Roxane Modaferri in the UFC 266.

“I suffered a very serious knee injury and now I need surgery. I can't believe it's my reality, but when they do a story about me, it's going to be the most amazing story because when I make my comeback, it's going to be amazing and I can't wait for it. I will think positive. I know this will be difficult. Injuries are always difficult, more mentally than physically, but I can get through it,” Suarez wrote in 'Instagram'.

Considered one of Ultimate's biggest promises in recent years, Tatiana gained prominence by winning the twenty-third edition of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter'. Plagued by a series of injuries, the American has not stepped into the Octagon since June 2019. The 30-year-old fighter has an undefeated MMA record of eight wins.
