Former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), Holly holm He already has a date set to return to the organization's octagon. The veteran faces the Brazilian Norm Dumont in an event scheduled for October 16th, with no defined location yet. The information was initially released by the North American website MMAFighting.

Originally also a bantamweight, Norm Dumont makes his second consecutive fight in the featherweight division. The Brazilian had problems with weight cutting in her last fights and recently moved to Las Vegas to use the UFC structure and resolve this issue.
At 39, Holly holm comes from two consecutive victories. The former champion's last fight was against Irene aldana, in October 2020, when he won by unanimous decision from the side judges. The American has a record of 14 wins and just five losses in her career, four of them in title fights.
Nine years younger than the opponent, Norm Dumont is also looking for his third consecutive victory in the UFC. After being defeated by Megan anderson in her debut in the organization, the Brazilian scored triumphs over Ashlee Evans-Smith, in November 2020, and Felicia spencer, in May of this year.
