Miranda Maverick is not shaken by controversial defeat, congratulates rival and suggests rematch

Protagonist of a Controversial result at UFC Las Vegas 32, Miranda maverick preferred not to cause controversy and showed sportsmanship in dealing with the setback in front of Maycee barber last Saturday (24). After a split decision from the judges, in a duel criticized for the final score, the fighter used social media to analyze the situation.

“Only those who were here know how much this publication hurts. I lost. No ‘ifs, ands, or buts’. I didn't do enough and I was very inactive in the third round, among other things. I will come back stronger every time I work on multiple skills,” wrote Maverick, on his account on Instagram.

Without provoking her opponent, Miranda chose to treat the negative result in another way. According to the flyweight (up to 56,7kg), the incident is part of a process in her career in MMA. A rematch, however, is not ruled out.

“I don’t know God’s will, but I graciously accept it. Congratulations to Maycee barber. Hold my place. I have a feeling we will meet again soon,” she signed off.
