The final of TUF Brasil 2 and the long-awaited rematch between Rodrigo Minotauro e Fabricio Werdum take place on June 8th, in Fortaleza, Ceará. But, in an attempt to publicize the event and make final adjustments, local politicians received important names to hold the show.
Governor Cid Gomes and the Mayor of Fortaleza Roberto Cláudio were visited by the fighters at the Abolition Palace Rodrigo Minotauro, Fabricio Werdum, Ron Jason e Geoffrey Pepey. In addition to them, UFC representatives signed the document to hold the show in the capital of Ceará.
“The UFC is very happy with this first event in the Northeast of Brazil. We were very successful in the three Southeastern states we were in and we are very happy to be able to bring this exciting event to other parts of the country, like Fortaleza”, said Grace Tourinho, UFC representative in Brazil, and then added.
“The feedback we already have from fans and partners already makes us very excited about the reception we will have in Ceará. There is no doubt that Ginásio Paulo Sarasate will be completely packed and with an incredible atmosphere”, he concluded.
