President of 'boxing without gloves' reaffirms desire to hire Júnior Cigano

David Feldman says he would like to count on the Brazilian, in addition to revealing a 'package' of 16 fighters for BKFC

On the eve of the 19th edition of the Bare Knucle Fighting Championship (BKFC), president David Feldman spoke about the future of the organization. In an interview with the North American website 'MMA Junkie', the agent reaffirmed his interest in having junior gypsy for upcoming promotions.

“He has excellent, heavy hands. He's the type of fighter we'd love to have in our organization. He’s going to take some time off and he’s in a bit of a downtime to see what he’s going to do, but we’ll get back to talking and we’ll see,” Feldman said.

It does not stop there. Asked about the next steps for 'bare-knuckle boxing', David promised a 'big announcement' of fighters for next week and says he is satisfied with the direction of his franchise.

“We have a big announcement coming up next week. We are organizing ourselves and signed 16 new fighters between yesterday and today. I am very happy with the growth of the organization. It's really on fire and I couldn't be happier”, added the 'boss'.

With a record of 21 wins and nine losses, junior gypsy, is currently free on the market. Hired by the UFC in 2008, he built a record of 15 wins and eight losses in the largest MMA organization in the world. In November 2011, he achieved his greatest moment when he knocked out Cain Velásquez in the first round to become heavyweight champion (up to 120,1 kg).
