In a pleasant attitude, the light heavyweight champion Jon Jones decided to pay tribute to his teammate Erik Perez, after learning that the Mexican will no longer participate in UFC 159 – next Saturday (27) – due to a knee infection. Jones appeared in an image on Twitter wearing a mask Wrestling, just like Perez does when entering the octagon.

In the photograph, “Jonny Bones” appears alongside Brandon Gibson, muay thai coach at Jackson-Winkeljohn Mixed Martial Arts, the gym where he and Erik Perez train, in the city of Albuquerque, state of New Mexico (USA). The image was originally published on Gibson's profile, and later retweeted by the champion.
