Next Saturday (27), Brazilian Vinny Magalhães is looking for his second victory in Ultimate, after debuting in the organization with a victory over Igor Pokrajac in September last year. In an interview given to the website MMA Junkie, Vinny was confident and warned his opponent, Phil Davis, about the qualities of his ground game.
“I see many ways I can win this fight. Not that it's an easy fight, Phil is a great athlete and there's a reason why he's eighth in the UFC light heavyweight rankings, and also why people think this is an unequal fight. But the fact is that I see a lot of holes in his game, which I think is perfect for me. If he takes me down, I only need ten seconds to finish him”, said the Brazilian.
Vinny Magalhães faces Phil Davies in the second fight of the UFC 159 main card. The event, which takes place this Saturday (27), will be held at Prudential Center, in New Jersey (USA). The main fight of the night will put the coaches of the 17th edition of the reality show face to face The Ultimate Fighter, Jon Jones e Chael Sonnen, a fight that is valid for the Ultimate light heavyweight title.
