A veteran of the organization, Markos is going through the worst moment of her career. In Ultimate since 2014, the Canadian has six defeats in the last 10 fights in the company. Today, the fighter's record is negative, with 10 triumphs and 11 setbacks.

The clash will mark the straws' second appearance of the season. While Souza was knocked out in front of Amanda lemos, Randa was the center of a controversy in the dispute against Luana pinheiro. At the time, the Canadian was disqualified after throwing an illegal knee at the Brazilian, who was unable to continue in the fight.
