Brandon Moreno promises not to change his humble ways after becoming UFC champion

The Mexican fighter cited his simple origins and declared that he does not intend to change his attitudes now that he is the leader of the flyweight division.

Known for his humble and peaceful manner, Brandon Moreno He promised not to change his attitudes now that he is the champion of the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg). In a statement to theMMA Junkie', the Mexican recalled other fighters who 'transformed' after winning the belt but cited his humble origins to ensure that he will continue to be the same person.

“We can see in history a lot of guys who win the belt, start to change a little and become idiots. I don't want to be that guy. I was born into a very humble family, which taught me a lot of good things in life. I'm trying to have fun with people too. I love being champion now, but I might lose the title soon,” said Moreno.

The new flyweight champion was crowned at the UFC 263 in June of this year. With an excellent performance, Brandon Moreno dominated the fight against Deiveson Figueiredo and won by submission in the third round.
