With her contract nearing the end, Kayla Harrison says she is in no rush to define her future

With her contract with the PFL about to end, the two-time lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) Kayla harrison He demonstrated that he was in no rush to decide his future. The American admitted that she has already had some preliminary conversations with the organization but stated that she is only focused on the semifinals of the 2021 season.

“We have already had some discussions. It's no secret that they (the PFL) want me to renew and continue working with them and for me, of course, I'm very grateful for that. I think it's a great honor that they want to continue working with me. I have no hard feelings or bad feelings towards the PFL. I just told them that right now I have two more fights and it's time for me to focus on that. I can't do my job properly if I'm thinking about taking 10 steps forward. I have to take it one step at a time”, Kayla declared to 'MMA Junkie'.

In search of his third lightweight championship, Harrison already has his opponent set for the semifinals. The North American will face New Zealander Genah Fabian in the event scheduled for August 19th. Undefeated in professional MMA, Kayla has a record of 10 wins.
