In the images (see below), it is possible to see Mountford trying a low shot, which was soon saved by Norsworthy. Soon after, the opponent lowered his guard at the same moment that Chrissy hit his chin with a frontal blow.
Aware of the move, the referee acted quickly and interrupted the fight, before the Englishman could land other blows on his opponent. The fight, which was the fourth of the night, lasted just 13 seconds. Chrissy Mountford has expanded her record in amateur MMA and now has five wins and one loss. Meanwhile, Connor Norsworthy felt the 'bitter taste' of his second straight setback.
The coup drew attention due to its similarity with the striking outcome of the Brazilian fight between Anderson Silva e Vitor belfort, at UFC 126. At the time, the 'Spider' defended the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg) for the eighth time in one of the most emblematic fights in the history of Ultimate.
