After triumph, Amanda Lemos celebrates a good moment and says she will still be UFC champion

The victory against Montserrat Ruiz No. UFC Las Vegas 31st last Saturday (17th) seems to have excited Amanda lemos in her goal of becoming the Ultimate strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg). In a post-event press conference, the Brazilian says she wants to face Tecia torres ou Michelle Waterson next to continue advancing in the division.

“I don’t know why two of the top five players refused to face me, but I’m here. I want to fight, no matter who it is against. I want to face Tecia torres ou Michelle Waterson. I'm ready for anyone. My goal is to keep knocking out, submitting and becoming champion. This is my goal. Sooner or later, I will be the champion”, said Lemos.

Amanda even highlights her growth as an Ultimate fighter in recent fights. However, she says she still says she can show even more technical features in her presentations.

“I think I've shown what I came here to do in all my fights. With each fight, I'm evolving and growing, and that's what I want. I want to show even more and for that I have to keep fighting. I want to fight. I feel good doing this”, concluded the Brazilian.

A representative of Ultimate since 2017, Lemos won his fourth consecutive victory with the organization's gloves. At the UFC Las Vegas 31, the Brazilian put on a show by beating the Mexican Montserrat Ruiz with just 35 seconds.
