Last minute download UFC Las Vegas 31. Brazilian Anderson Berinja, who would face Miles Johns, this Saturday (17), left the attraction just a few hours before the start of the event. The Tupiniquim athlete, or someone on his team, tested positive for Covid-19.

The news of the cancellation was released by the North American website MMA Fighting and confirmed by Johns, the Brazilian's rival, on his Instagram account. It is the second time that Berinja has left a fight due to Covid-19. In July 2020, he was scheduled to face Jack shore, on Ilha da Luta, but contracted the virus.
With the departure of Anderson Berinja from UFC Las Vegas 31, Brazil continues with five representatives on the card. In the main fight of the attraction, James Moses measures forces against the Russian Islam makhachev. Still on the main card, Rudolph Vieira faces Dustin Stoltzfus. In the preliminary program, Amanda lemos face Montserrat Ruiz, Francisco Figueredo, Deiveson's brother, duels with Malcom Gordon, while Rodrigo Zé Colmeia opens the night of fights in front of Alan Baudot.
