The UFC confirmed another all-Brazilian duel for 2021. Ariane Sorriso e istela nunes They face each other in the strawweight category (up to 52,1 kg). The fight will take place at an event scheduled for October 16th, with no location yet defined. The initial information was provided by the Ag. Fight website.

istela nunes signed with the UFC in 2019, but has yet to make his Octagon debut. The 28-year-old athlete from American Top Team was hired by Ultimate after playing in ONE Championship, in Asia, but ended up suspended for two years after being caught in an anti-doping test carried out by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency).
Istela arrives at Ultimate with a record of six wins and just one loss in professional MMA. She hasn't fought since July 2018, when she defeated Gina Iniong via unanimous decision.
On the other side, Ariane “Sorriso” Carnelossi steps into the UFC octagon for the third time. After defeat in his debut in the organization, in September 2019, to Angela Hill, the 28-year-old athlete defeated Na Liang by technical knockout in UFC 261, in April this year. Ariane has a record of 13 wins and two losses.
The main fight of the UFC event on October 16th has not yet been confirmed, but the card already features two other Brazilians. Heavy weight (up to 120,2 kg) Carlos Boi face the veteran Andrei Arlovski, and Luana Dread face Maryna moroz flyweight (up to 56,7 kg).
