Usman's manager calls Covington a racist and confirms negotiations for a rematch

I confess disaffection with Colby covington, Ali Abdelaziz, businessman from Kamaru Usman, he fired again at the North American 'loudmouth'. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the agent called 'Chaos' racist and confirmed negotiations for a rematch between the fighters for the welterweight title. It is not yet known when the new duel will take place.

“That’s the fight. Look, the last time they fought, he (Usman) broke his (Covington) jaw. In this one, I hope he goes blind or something bad happens to him, because he's a really bad person. He's on the same level of shit as Conor (McGregor). (…) He IS a racist idiot. (…) He offends people's religion, wife. You saw what he said about Dustin (Poirier) – he said his wife is a prop. How can you say that? It’s a guy he used to train with”, said Abdelaziz.

Confident of a new victory for his pupil against Colby, Ali echoes the attacks of UFC president, Dana White. The president does not hide his desire to promote a new meeting between the welterweights, repeating the duel that, according to the 'boss' himself, was one of the best he has ever seen.

“Dana White is right. That's the fight. He's the prosecutor and at the end of the day, you want to see Colby covington 'drinking through a straw', without walking for a year or two. (…) He’s not a great fighter. He’s going to stay there, but I believe Usman is going to hurt him a lot,” he concluded.

Leader of the welterweight division since 2019, Kamaru is experiencing the best phase of his professional MMA career. To date, the Nigerian has made four title defenses, winning on each occasion. In his last performance, Usman ran over Jorge masvidal with an imposing knockout, keeping the belt and proving, once again, his evolution.
