Kelvin Gastelum defeats favorite Urijah Hall and wins TUF 17

After sending four rivals to the hospital, 'Man Ambulance' loses the final of the UFC reality show

The zebra showed up at the TUF 17 Finale, an event held this Saturday (13), in Las Vegas, in the United States. The underdog Kelvin Gastelum was not intimidated by the enormous favoritism of Uriah Hall and won the season of the UFC reality show with a split decision from the judges. In the main fight of the night, Urijah faber submitted Scott Jorgensen with a rear naked choke in the fourth round.

Called 'Ambulance Man' for sending his four opponents on the reality show to the hospital, Urijah Hall entered the contest exuding confidence.

In the best style Anderson Silva, the Jamaican lowered his guard on several occasions, accepted Gastelum's blows and always responded with the counterattack. However, Urijah ended up taken down and kept on the ground during much of the first half.

In the second round, history seemed to repeat itself. Hall with a lot of confidence in the stand-up fight, while Gastelum was not intimidated by his rival's confidence.

Kelvin once again managed to take the fight to the ground, but this time he was swept and Hall got on top and threw some dangerous punches. In the final moments, he even applied a plastic takedown that raised the audience's spirits.

In the last round of an impressive duel, the dispute was even with Hall having a small advantage in striking. however, a new fall put Gastelum on top in the final half of the duel.

At the end of the 15 minutes of competition, Kelvin Gastelum ousted the favorite Uriah Hall and took the duel in a split decision from the judges (29×28, 28×29, 29×28).

Faber submits Jorgensen

After the TUF 17 grand final, the bantamweights Urijah faber and Scott Jorgensen headlined the show. With total favoritism, the 'California Kid' proved why he is still one of the best athletes in the Ultimate bantamweight division.

Urijah imposed his rhythm in the fight from the beginning, mixing the exchange of blows and takedowns well. After dominating the first three rounds of the dispute, Faber took down his opponent in the fourth round, got to Jorgensen's back, locked in a tight rear-naked choke and forced his rival to give up the fight.

With the new triumph, Faber adds two consecutive victories since losing the fight for the interim title to Renan Barao, in July last year.

Zingano beats Tate and will be Ronda's challenger

The undefeated Zingano cat will be the next challenger for the women's belt Ronda Rousey. In an electrifying duel from start to finish, the North American managed to recover from a bad start and beat her compatriot Miesha Tate by technical knockout in the third round.

With the result, Zingano guarantees the right to coach the 18th season of TUF against Ronda Rousey and at the end of the reality show they face each other for the women's belt in the bantamweight division.
