Training partner Dustin poirier at American Top Team, Jorge masvidal assured that the North American is in his best shape for the duel against Conor McGregor, in the main fight of the UFC 264, this Saturday (10).

In a statement to the official UFC channel, Masvidal stated that he has already seen numerous preparations for Dustin poirier, but assured that this was special and that his partner is taking the fight against the Irishman very seriously.
“He’s in phenomenal shape, man. I've been following since the beginning of the camp. He arrived in shape. He knew the third fight (against McGregor) would happen at some point. It's not like he went home after winning the last one and relaxed. He arrived already defined and training five rounds. Normally I see him evolving every week. This time he arrived ready to fight from the first week and he is phenomenal. He’s going to hurt someone,” Masvidal assured.
Despite trusting in the victory of Dustin poirier, Jorge masvidal do not underestimate the ability to Conor McGregor. According to the welterweight, it's a good idea for his colleague to pay attention, especially in the opening minutes of the fight.
“I think Conor has a better fight time than anyone, faster than anyone. Poirier has to move, hit his legs and try to make him uncomfortable in the grappling. Conor comes with everything going, so Dustin better be more than ready for it. He's already faced him twice, so he has a lot of strategies for the fight. I don’t think Conor will be able to surprise him, not even standing up, but it’s one of his best weapons”, analyzed Masvidal.
