Jon Jones is scheduled to defend the UFC light heavyweight belt against the controversial Chael Sonnen at UFC 159, an event that takes place on April 27th in Newark, in the United States. Despite facing an opponent who likes to provoke his opponents, the champion says he is not bothered by Sonnen's actions.
In an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting, Jon stated that he intends to defend his belt, while Chael only thinks about promoting his fights.
“His words don’t bother me. His speech is not personal. I understood superficially how the Chael Sonnen. After the reality show he started to provoke a little more. But that's his business, promoting fights. That’s how he got this fight for the belt,” he said. “His business is selling fights and mine is being a champion. That's why I'm excited. I’m excited to enter the Octagon and do what I do best, win and keep the belt,” he added.
