Last Monday (8), the Ultimate organization updated its official ranking of fighters. Few changes occurred – only ten athletes changed positions – and curiously none of them involved names that played in last Saturday's event (6), UFC Sweden 2. One of the highlights of the update was the Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare, who even without debuting for the organization, gained another position and is now eighth among the middleweights.

Jacaré will have his first fight for the biggest MMA organization on the planet on May 18th, against Cypriot Costa Phillipou, in the co-main fight of the UFC at Combate 2. Jacaré has already been world jiu-jitsu champion several times and He is a former middleweight champion of the now-defunct Strikeforce.

The TUF 2 trainer  now ranks eighth among heavyweights.
