With just a few days left until the long-awaited conclusion of the trilogy between Conor McGregor e Dustin poirier, the athletes' supply of provocations seems to be far from over. Last Tuesday night (06), it was the Irishman's turn to publish an alleged request for a message from Poirier's wife on his social networks.

The Irishman revealed, to his almost nine million followers, a screenshot that showed an alleged request for a message from his rival's wife to him. However, the content of the message was not revealed and the authenticity of the image was also not proven.

It's worth remembering that McGregor is not the first to use this tactic. Recently, the YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul did something similar to provoke Tommy Fury, publishing an alleged message he received from the Englishman's girlfriend, Molly Mae Hague. The model, however, went public to state that it was a montage.
