Retired from MMA since the end of 2020, Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to be involved in the sport. With the intention of carrying on the legacy of his father, Abdulmanap, who passed away in July last year, the lightweight legend (up to 70,3kg) starred in images in which he 'does a hard workout' for students at AKA (American kickboxing Academy). Demanding discipline from his pupils, it was even up to the veteran Luke Rockhold.

A curious moment, in the images released by 'RTSport', starred Nurmagomedov and former UFC and Strikeforce champion, Luke Rockhold. Upon realizing that the veteran failed to comply with an agreement, the athlete was forced to 'pay' with push-ups.

“Discipline for everyone. If you're late, you have to do push-ups. I don't care if you're world champion or not. If you are not going to comply with our discipline, get out of here,” Khabib told the cameras.

At the end of the video, a comical scene. While the athletes ran on an avenue, the former lightweight champion was filmed following the route on a bicycle. In the images, the Russian was mocked, but responded with category.

“You and I can cheat now. We are coaches”, he replied.

One of the biggest names in recent MMA history, Khabib left the sport after winning Justin gaethje and unify the UFC belt in the category. The decision was announced in the octagon, shortly after the victory. The Russian hung up his gloves with a perfect record of 29 wins and no losses.
