Poirier analyzes the duel with McGregor and says: “If we fight ten times for more than one round, I will win all ten”

Dustin poirier e Conor McGregor end the long-awaited trilogy between them next Saturday (10), in the main fight of the UFC 264, in Las Vegas (USA). With just a few days left until the meeting, both athletes have shown a lot of confidence in their speeches.

In an interview with journalist Brett Okamoto, from North American ESPN, it was time to Dustin poirier talk about your strategy for Saturday's fight. Poirier once again stated that he expects McGregor to be more active in the first round and guaranteed that if the fight progressed and went beyond the opening round ten times, he would emerge victorious in all ten.

“I think he will be more aggressive. He won't want to let the fight unfold. I think the more the last fight went on and I got more comfortable, the worse it was for him. If I were him, I would try to touch myself as quickly as possible and take my rhythm away. Because if this fight develops and goes to the second, third, fourth rounds, starts to have a rhythm, I will win ten times out of ten”, guaranteed the North American.

The last time they faced each other, Dustin poirier knocked out Conor McGregor in the second round of the main fight of UFC 257, in January 2020. The first fight between the two, in September 2014, ended with the Irishman winning by technical knockout.
