UFC moves fight between Douglas D'Silva and Gaetano Pirrello to October 2

Seeking to recover from a defeat in January, the Brazilian could face the Belgian, who has yet to win in the company

Defeated in his first commitment of 2021, Douglas D' Silva is close to having his next commitment confirmed. Seeking to recover from the setback suffered in January, the Brazilian is negotiating a confrontation against Gaetano Pirrello for October 2nd. The information was released by 'BJPenn.com'.

A UFC representative since 2014, Douglas is heading towards his ninth fight with the organization's gloves. Acting for the roosters (up to 61,2kg.), the man from Pará has already shared the octagon with important names in the company, such as Renan Barao, Petr yan e Rob font.

Silva's possible opponent for October, Pirrello is looking to win his first in the company. On his debut in January, the Belgian ended up submitting Ricky simon and tries to recover in the organization.

Douglas' last victory in the UFC came in November 2019.
