Brazilian star in Ultimate, Charles of the Bronx suffered an irreparable loss this Friday (2). UFC lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), the São Paulo native lost his physical trainer, Alaelson Vieira de Albuquerque, Laércio, victim of Covid-19. The cause of death was announced by 'Ag.Fight'. On his social networks, the athlete lamented the death of his teammate.

In addition to the message honoring Laércio, Do Bronx also made a point of changing his photo on the social network. Now, the athlete, out of respect for the loss, uses an image with the word 'Mourning'.
Living the best moment of his career, Do Bronx is preparing to go to Las Vegas to follow the UFC 264. On July 10, the Brazilian will meet the first challenger for his belt. The main fight will be between Dustin poirier e Conor McGregor.
