The Swede Alexander Gustafson, removed from the UFC Sweden 2 card, also known as UFC on FUEL TV 9, published, this Wednesday morning (3), an image of the cut that caused his departure from the event. The image accompanied a post on his official website, themauler.com.
However, a few hours after the photograph was published, it was removed from publication. What remained was just a text in which Gustafsson comments on the episode and regrets not being able to fight. But before its deletion, the image was registered by the website MMA Junkie (photo).
In just three paragraphs, the Swede confirmed that he cut his eyebrow on March 28th and that he believed he could fight, a fact that did not materialize. The athlete still felt sorry for his opponent, Gegard Mousasi, who now faces his training partner, Ilir Latif, and thanked his fans for their support.
