VIDEO: Pregnant Ronda Rousey reveals baby's gender inspired by 'Pokémon' theme

The former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), Ronda Rousey, announced the gender of her first child through an unusual revelation. On his official channel on 'YouTube', the American was in the presence of her husband and fighter Travis Browne and adopted the franchise's theme 'Pokémon' to announce that he will have a girl.

“Our gender reveal is finally here. We didn't want to do anything that would lead to negative comments. Some people are i******. We didn't want to do that. So we’re keeping it simple,” Ronda said.

Officially married to Browne since 2017, Ronda will be a mother for the first time. Outside of MMA sports since 2016, the American currently dedicates herself to taking care of the farm that she manages with her husband.

With 14 professional fights in mixed martial arts, Rousey dominated the women's UFC discipline for more than three years. Unbeatable at her peak, the athlete held the bantamweight belt between 2013 and 2015.

In WWE, the American was successful, quickly becoming one of the biggest names in the organization. Today, the athlete is 34 years old and shows no signs of returning to mixed martial arts.
