“My next fight will be against a top-15 player for sure. I keep asking the UFC for the best possible fighter. I want the best names they can give me, that's what I'm looking for, I want guys like Islam makhachev, Gregor Gillespie, all these guys. I want to fight the best athlete possible”, declared Moicano.

In his third fight in the lightweight division, the Brazilian athlete achieved his second triumph. His debut in the new weight range was in March 2020 when he finished Damir Hadzović. Then, Moicano was knocked out by Raphael Fiziev in December of the same year. Now, the Brazilian has a record of 15 wins, four defeats and one draw. A former featherweight athlete, Renato has faced names like José Aldo, Korean zombie e Brian ortega.
