Despite fans' interest in following the Ultimate debut of Ryan Couture (son of the legendary Randy Couture), his opponent, Ross Pearson, doesn't seem to be very excited about his rival. In a podcast interview The MMA Hour, Pearson questioned his opponent's skills next Saturday (6), at UFC Sweden 2.
“I feel like he's going to come prepared and I definitely think he's going to be the best Ryan Couture we'll see. But, no, I don't think he's on my level. I don't think he's fought with the level of competition I've fought against and I don't think he's fought UFC-caliber guys ever, really,” said the Englishman.
Ross Pearson and Ryan Couture face off in the penultimate fight of UFC Sweden 2, also known as UFC on FUEL TV 9. The event is scheduled to take place this Saturday, April 6th, at Ericsson Globe Arena, in Stockholm.
