An unusual incident marked one of the UAE Warriors' fights at an event held last Saturday (19), in Abu Dhabi. In the confrontation against Gianni Melillo, Mohammad Karaki caught a finger in the eye, but the duel was not interrupted by the referee. Enforcing the rule, Melillo took advantage of his opponent's low guard and delivered a hard knockout, which ended the fight in the first round.

In the images (see below) you can see that the fighters were having an insane confrontation. Entitled to a knockdown for each side, the duel unfolded in such a way that a knockout was predicted.
After just over two minutes, Mohammad simply stopped exchanging blows and put one of his hands to his right eye, showing signs that he had been hit illegally. The referee allowed the confrontation to continue and, afterwards, with his opponent almost on his back, Gianni delivered a straight right to the chin, which obliterated Melillo.
After 'erasing' his opponent, Gianni celebrated the triumph. By rule, the duel is only interrupted with the authorization of the duel conductor.
Insane KO at UAE Warriors.
Mohammad Karaki and Gianni Melillo both traded knockdowns before Karaki claimed there was an eye poke. And well, protect yourself at all times. # UAEWarriors20 pic.twitter.com/yXWOIVP0FH
